The bid capacity required in the given tender can be calculated using the following formulas: 1. The tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where: - V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees - N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited 2. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. Additionally, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender The subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. The bid security and performance guarantee values are given as a percentage of the contract value for the performance guarantee, which is 5% of the contract value.
