The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed as a prime contractor or subcontractor at least one similar work of an agreement value not less than 25% of the amount put to bid. The experience certificates of similar work are considered for a specific period, which is from the 1st of the month five years prior to the last date of receipt of tender up to the last date of the month before the last date of receipt of tender. For instance, if the last date of receipt of tender is in June 2025, the experience period would be from June 1, 2020, to May 31, 2025. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the amount put to bid, with at least 50% of this turnover being from civil engineering construction works. Additionally, the bidder must have completed works with a total monetary value of turnover and civil construction works performed for each of the last five years. The available bid capacity is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five financial years, updated to the current financial year's price level at an index rate of 8% per year. In the case of a Joint Venture, the lead partner must meet not less than 50% of the qualification criteria, and each of the remaining partners must meet not less than 25% of all the qualifying criteria. The Joint Venture must collectively satisfy the requirements of the criteria. The required prior work experience includes a minimum of 25% of the amount put to bid for similar works, and the bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the amount put to bid, with 50% of this turnover coming from civil engineering construction works.
