The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five Financial years. The total monetary value of construction work performed for each of the last five years should be provided. To qualify for the award of the Contract, each bidder should have, in the last five years, achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 60% of the amount put to bid, as certified by a chartered accountant, and at least 50% of which is from civil engineering construction works. The bidder should have completed works, but the exact amount is not specified. However, proposals for subcontracting components of the works amounting to more than 10% of the Bid Price for each contract over Rs 5 Crore should be annexed. Additionally, the bidder should undertake to invest a minimum of 25% of the contract value of work during implementation of the contract. The bidder should also provide evidence of access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources, facilities up to 20% of the contract value. The bidder should provide information regarding any litigation, current or during the last five years, in which the Bidder is involved. The value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the period of completion of construction work for which bids are invited should also be provided. The required prior work experience includes having completed similar works, but the exact percentage of similar works completed is not specified. The bidder should have the required number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which bids are invited.
