The formula for bid capacity is: The arithmetic sum of individual “Bid capacity” of all the members shall be taken as JV’s “Bid capacity”.
Technical Capacity
The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed one of the following categories of work:
(i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender,
(ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender,
(iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender.
For subcontractors, they shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in the last 5 years.
However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of subcontractor shall be asked for.
