Work Experience Requirements
In the last five years, bidders must have completed at least one similar project valued at no less than 25% of the estimated contract value. Minimum quantities of specified work items (cement concrete, earthwork, bituminous and non-bituminous work) must have been executed in any one year.
Bid Capacity
Bidders who meet minimum qualification criteria will be qualified only if their available bid capacity is more than the total bid value. Available bid capacity is calculated as: (A*N*3 – B), where A = maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years (updated to the price level of the year indicated in Appendix), N = number of years prescribed for completion of the works, and B = value (updated to the price level of the year indicated in Appendix) of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the next N years.
Technical Capacity
For projects exceeding a certain value, bidders must possess or have arrangements to procure key equipment (listed in Annexure-I) and possess a specified number of personnel with the qualifications and experience detailed in Annexure-II.
Technical Specification
Specific quantities of work executed in a single year are required, including cement concrete (RCC and PSC), earthwork for earthen shoulder maintenance, bituminous work (DGBM + BC), and non-bituminous work (GSB + WMM). Exact quantities are detailed in the appendix.
