Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exc. 1.5 metre wide and not exc. 1.5 metre in depth and getting out for taking up / laying under ground electric cable including taking out old bricks from trenches and set aside for reuse complete all as specified and as directed.

All as srl item No 4 above but for additional 1.5 m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.5m in hard/dense soil all as directed.

M & L for plain cement concrete, 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in copings to poles & the like, etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and erecting steel tubular pole, swaged, complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, washer and screws including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer on all exposed surfaces and tarring with black bituminous paints to portion embedded in PCC including numbering of poles with two coats of synthetic enamel paints, type 410-SP-31 (9 meter long) complete, Including disconnecting and taking out old damage PCC pole all as directed. Note Excavation & Earth work and PCC foundation/base shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this BoQ.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each layer ,complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point ,complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for dry sand cushioning to underground cables with 8cm thick before laying of cables and 15cm thick after laying and stretching of cable and gentally hand ramming and consolidation etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Thickness of sand shall be measured 18 cm thick after punning.

Supply and laying sub class B bricks of size 25cmx15cmx7.5cm for protection of UG cable with width equal to length of bricks as mechanical protection laid dry and flat complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying bricks obtained from item No: 3 for protection of UG cable complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for horizontal boring by mechanically across the existing road without disturbing the road surface for inserting 80/40 mm bore GI pipe all complete all as specified and as directed by EIC. ( Note :- GI pipe will be measured and paid respective item of BOQ).

S & F MS Galvanised chain link fencing 3.40 mm dia & 100mmX100mm mesh including line wires wt n.exc. 4.00 Kg/Sqm.

Supply and fixing of GI tubing, light grade, 40 mm bore with all fitting laid in trenches / pole / wall for protection of cables in repairs complete. Make - TATA /JINDAL

Supply and fixing of GI tubing, light grade, 80 mm bore with all fitting laid in trenches / pole / wall for protection of cables in repairs complete. Make - TATA / ZINDAL

Laying only cable any sizes obtained from item No 3 with all fixing & connecting accessories such as Alluminium cable lugs, cable gland, nut, bolts, washer etc complete as specified and as directed.

Digging out incoming and outgoing cables of any sized from loops near/back side junction box/feeder pillar box/ LT panel in trenches, cutting burnt out uninsulated portion of cable and relaying refixing in trenches and returning, refilling the excavated soil and connecting the cables with bus bars including provision of suitable size of aluminium lugs, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply ,fabrication, installation and testing of LT out door type factory made CPRI Approved, water and vermin proof protection pedestal type junction box of size 900mmX600mmX400mm (over all dimension) made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet dully supported with mild steel angle iron of size 25X25X5mm vertical frame and legs with mild steel flat iron 25X5 mm in horizontal sides of the frame with front and back side openable ,single hinged door / shutter with locking arrengement and powder coated finish both internal and external steel surfaces after necessary preparation of steel surfaces including providing PCC (1:3:6) type C2 foundation of size 0.80m X 0.6m X 0.90m depth (0.30m below ground level and 0.60m above ground level ) and connections of all outgoing / incomming existing cable of any size drawing / digging out cable from loops in trenches inclusive of necessary excavation and earthwork as required and relaying the cables including the following fitment accessories all complete as specified and as directed. NOTE: Rate of earthwork and PCC work are deemed to be inclusive in this item. Material and labour LT Cable rout indicator made out of PCC Post ofMix 1:2:4 using 20mm graded stone aggregate of size not less than 20 x 15 cm and one meter height with making embossing the following letters of size 100 mm in the PCC Post " LT CABLE with ARROW" including necessary excavation and PCC 1:2:4 using 20mm graded stone aggregate (30 X 30 x 30 CM ) for embeding in the ground complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair prepration of old painted surfaces steel / Iron of any description over 10 cm in width or girth not otherwise described and two coats of synthetic enamel painting after one coating of red oxide primer in existing surface after proper cleaning complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Painting of panels / feeder filler boxes shall be carried out in different colour of paints as required at site and as directed.)

Attend faults of LT OH/ LT cable/ street light fittings out door electrical fixtures as per any rating/ make/ model/ type in position including testing of serviceability of cables and fittings, finding fault/ defect and repairing proper jointing of wires/cables with reqd jointing materials and making wiring functional complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (i) The rate quoted is excluding electrical fitting & fixtures, cable and major items. (ii) The rate quoted is including the repairing tools & insulation tape (iii) Provn of cables/ street light accessories and fittings incl taking down of the same will be paid under relevant items. (iv) Collection of daily complaints from complaint cell will the responsibility of the contractor. (v) Contractor shall be responsible to submit the all rectified complaints to JE incharge after completion on daily basis(vi) Electrician & Helper shall be engaged by contractor

M&L in reapir for replacement of MS sheet cover of LT panel board made out of 2.00 mm thick MS sheet as per required shape and size including necessary fabrication,welding work and fixing accessories etc to match with existing panel surface complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in repair for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of 32 x 6 mm galvanized iron strip, buried in ground or fixed to wall in repair complete.

M & L for Earthing to OH /Sub stn with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to main earth lead GI wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nut, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule part-I 2009, GI earth lead wire protected by GI pipe 15mm dia light grade and connected to earth test point including excavation in any type of soil,returning filling, disposal of soil, providing charcoal dust and common salt upto top edge of earth plate, construction of PCC pit with RCC cover, funnel, watering pipe of 20mm dia GI light grade and provision of earth test point including testing on completion & earth work complete all as specified and directed.
