Supply and installation of silent Diesel Engine driven generating set of capacity 10 KVA 415 volts, 3 phase 4 wire, engine as per IS:10001/ 10002 and Alternator as per IS: 13364 complete with relay panel and switch gears for automatic starting on main failure, control panel having meter and sound proof canopy as per CPCB (CENTRAL POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD) norms and foundation etc, in addition to the details as listed in Annexure ‘A’.complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Any major / minor civil works like PCC foundation for DG Set shall be as per manufacturer's recommendations and the cost of the PCC foundation shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) On completion and before handing over of the work the following tests of DG Set shall be tested by IEM or representative of AO in presence of AGE (I) / Engr-in-Charge before issue of completion certificate.

Supply and laying under ground XLPE insulated PVC sheathed (Heavy duty) armoured 1100 volts grade aluminium conductor cable of size 35 Sqmm 3.5 core as per IS 7098 (Part I) laid in trench or on floor / wall/pole with suitable size clamp including connection with cable glands, aluminium lugs etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation, earthwork and protection of cable shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of BOQ.

M&L for earthing with galvanised earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm burried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level connected to galvanised iron strip 25x4 mm dia by means of nut, bolts and washers made out of galvanised iron mild steel and 50 mm dia GI pipe "light grade" for protection of earth lead and connected to control board or transformer neutral earth or as directed by Engr-in-Charge including earthing pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 pre-cast cover PCC cover lab of size 300 x 300 x 100 mm with one handle made out of 8 mm dia round bar 20 mm dia GI pipe light grade for watering funnels , wire mesh and provided charcoal or coke of alternative layers of 15 cm including necessary earth work complete shown in electrical plated No 3 and testing complete. NOTE :- (i) The earthing pit should be provided with proper earth pit and pit cover. Pit cover should be painted with synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and pit number to be marked on a GI plate above 45 cm from GL as per colour code followed in AF Station. (ii) Iron strip 25x4 mm dia upto 7.5 mtr length shall be deemed to include in this items rate. (iii) if the desired earth resistance is not found earthing shall be redone by the contractor at no extra cost to the department. (iv) Testing to be carried out by the contractor in presence of JE E/M. (v) T&P and testing instrument (meger) to be provided by the contractor at own cost.
