The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed similar work during the last 07 years. The experience requirement can be fulfilled in one of the following ways: - Three similar works, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Two similar works, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. Additionally, the bidder should have completed at least 1400 sqm of building works in a single project. The value of similar work can be arrived at by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7% per annum. The cost of similar work is calculated by excluding GST and the cost of free issue materials. The bidder should also have an average annual financial turnover of at least 50% of the estimated cost put to tender during the last three consecutive financial years, and should not have incurred any losses in more than two consecutive years during the immediate last five financial years. A Banker's Certificate of an amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost put to tender or a Net Worth Certificate of minimum 10% of the estimated cost put to tender is required. The bidder can use the work experience of its subsidiary company to the extent of its ownership in the subsidiary company. In case of a Company/firm, formed after merger and/or acquisition of other companies/firms, past work experience and financial parameters like turnover, profitability, net worth etc. can be considered. For a Joint Venture (JV), if it is deemed to meet the 'similar work' criteria, the division of the scope of work in terms of specific activities and the associated value of work between the Consortium/Unincorporated Joint Venture (JV) members should be indicated. If the percentage share of each member is not specified, the completed value shall be arrived at after considering the percentage share of each member as per the shareholding pattern available. The bidder is required to submit self-attested experience/completion/performance certificates of completed similar works with work order / Letter of Award / Letter of Intent, Certified final bill/ proof of payment.
