East Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes submitting documents detailed for evaluation of credentials, such as employment or partnership with retired railway employees, and a list of works completed and in hand. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years. The categories include: - Three similar works costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Substantially completed work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. Work experience certificate from private individuals is not considered, but certificates from government organizations or public listed companies with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years are considered. The tenderer must submit particulars of all works completed, including works in hand, with figures of cost excluding materials supplied free of cost by the client. Supportive documents from organizations the tenderer is working with should be enclosed, giving description of work, contract value, date of award, and approximate date value of balance work. The bidder must have minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less; where V= Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees N= Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet.
