East Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder involves successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work within the last 7 years. These categories include: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the requirements are similar but applied to each component of the tender. Additionally, for subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years, except for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, where no previous work experience is required. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as follows: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender for three similar works, - 40% of the advertised value of the tender for two similar works, - 60% of the advertised value of the tender for one similar work, - 35% value of the work to be subletted for subcontracting, with a specific exception for work costing up to Rs 50 lakh.
