East Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed specific similar works within the last 7 years. The similar works can be: - Three similar works costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. In case of more than one L-1 bidders, the tender may be awarded to the tenderer having done more value of similar nature work in the last three previous years and the current financial year up to the date of opening of the tender. Additionally, the bidder must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years. The minimum average annual contractual turnover is 'V/N' or 'V' whichever is less, where 'V' equals the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and 'N' equals the number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. Separate completed works of minimum required values for each component can also be considered for fulfillment of technical eligibility criteria, with a component in a composite work considered separate only when its cost is more than 2 crore.
