The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work performed as a prime contractor, or as a nominated sub-contractor, provided the sub-contract involved execution of all the main items of work described in the bid document, over the last five years. For key personnel, the required experience is: - Project Manager: B.E. Civil with 5 to 7 years of experience - Site Engineer: J.E. Civil with 3 years of experience The bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover of 67% of the estimated cost of the package in any one year. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of value not less than one third of the estimated cost of work, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. The bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity, including Earth work, Plain/Reinforced Cement Concrete, and WMM. The bidder should not have abandoned any works, nor should any contract for PWD works have been rescinded in the last five years. The bidder needs to provide information on the quantities of work executed, including Earth Works, GSB, WBM/WMM, SDBC/PCSC, and Interlocking Concrete block pavement, and the total value of Civil Engineering construction work performed in the given years, in Rs. Lakhs. The bidder is required to attach certificates from the Engineer(s)-in-Charge, indicating the contract reference and the value of work performed. The required values and percentages of similar works completed are: - Minimum annual financial turnover: 67% of the estimated cost of the package - Value of similar work: not less than one third of the estimated cost of work - Completion rate: not less than 90% of the contract value - Minimum quantities of major items of work: not less than 40% of the estimated quantity.
