The bidder should have prior work experience in executing works similar to the one being tendered. The value of executed work during the last 7 years shall be brought to the current level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7% per annum. The maximum value of engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years is denoted as 'A' in the bid capacity formula. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned. However, the bidder's experience in executing engineering works is considered for calculating the bid capacity. The bid capacity should have equal value to the Tender Cost. The bidder should provide an undertaking of how much EMRS work they have completed, certified by a Chartered Accountant. The value of executed work is to be calculated using the formula: Bid capacity = {[AxMxN]-B}, where A is the maximum value of engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated at the current price level.
