The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having a minimum annual financial turnover of 60% of the DNIT value up to Rs. 200 Lakh and 75% of the DNIT value for more than Rs. 200 Lakh in any one year. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor, at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 (one third) of the DNIT value, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 10% per year based on the rupee value to bring them to the present price level. The bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. The value of similar work is 1/3rd of the respective value of work, which should be not less than one third of the contract value. The bidder's annual financial turnover should be at least 60% of the DNIT value up to Rs. 200 Lakh and 75% of the DNIT value for more than Rs. 200 Lakh, in any one year of the respective value of work. However, there is a relaxation in qualification criteria for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers of Assam, which includes a minimum annual financial turnover of 25% of the DNIT in any one year. The bidder's prior work experience is considered based on the cost of completed works, and the total monetary value of civil construction work performed for each of the last five years is required to be furnished by the bidder. Specific roles have minimum experience requirements, such as Project Manager, Site Engineer, Plant Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, and Soil & Material Engineer, with varying years of experience required based on their qualifications. For routine maintenance work, Site Engineer requires B.E. Civil + 3 Years Exp. or Diploma in Civil Engg + 5 years Exp.
