The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar work with a value of at least 1/3 of the DNIT value and a completion percentage of at least 90% of the contract value. The bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover of 60% of the DNIT value up to Rs. 200 Lakh and 75% of the DNIT value for more than Rs. 200 Lakh in any one year. However, for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers of Assam, the minimum annual financial turnover is relaxed to 25% of the DNIT value. The bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. Additionally, the bidder should provide information on the quantities of work executed as a prime contractor of all main items of work, in the last five years, and the total volume of civil engineering construction work performed in the last five years. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work as a prime contractor in the last five years, but this requirement is exempted for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers of Assam.
