The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed works of a similar nature in the last 5 years, with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work in the IFB. The annual financial turnover of the bidder should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year of the respective value of work mentioned in the IFB. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: * 1/3rd of the respective value of work in the IFB (not less than one third of the contract value). * 67% of the DNIT value, in any one year of the respective value of work mentioned in the IFB, as the annual financial turnover amount. * 40% of the estimated quantity of major items as detailed in the online Bill of Quantities. * A completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value for similar work. * The bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. * Relaxations are available for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers, with a minimum annual financial turnover of 25% of the DNIT value and exemption from single similar nature of work performed as prime contractor. The bidder should also provide information on the quantities of work executed as a prime contractor for all main items of work described in the bid document, in the last 5 years, with details of project name, employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, and dates of work order and completion. Certificates from authorized Engineers in-charge are required to verify the completion of similar works and executed quantities.
