The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. They should have also satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 of the DNIT value, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. Additionally, the bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. The value of similar work completed should be at least 1/3rd of the contract value. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The annual financial turnover amount should be 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. The bidder should provide information on the total monetary value of civil construction work performed for each of the last five years. The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 10% per year based on rupee value to bring them to the present price level. For relaxation in qualification criteria for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers, the minimum annual financial turnover is 25% of the DNIT in any one year. The bidder should indicate actual figures of cost and amount for the works executed by them without accounting for the escalation factors. They should submit a certificate of similar nature of work done, completed in the last 5 years, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge, along with the executed quantities of work done in the last 5 years. The bidder should also submit a list of existing commitments with the value of remaining work as on the date of submission of the bid, and audited balance sheets of the last 5 years. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 1/3rd of the contract value for similar work - 67% of the DNIT value for annual financial turnover - 10% per year for updating the cost of completed works to the present price level - 25% of the DNIT in any one year for minimum annual financial turnover (for relaxation in qualification criteria for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers) - 40% of the estimated quantity of major items of work - 90% of the contract value for completion rate of similar work.
