The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the completion of similar work, which is defined as "Construction of one RCC/PSC Girder Bridge with Pile foundation in a contract of value not less than Rs 268 Lakh across channel/river in a road project." The bidder should have completed at least 90% or more of the works under the contract of similar work, which is referred to as substantial completion. Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum construction experience in specific key activities, including the successful completion of 73 MT of steel reinforcement in one or more contracts in any one year of the last five years between 1st April 2019 and 31st March 2024. The bidder is required to have prior work experience of substantial completion of at least one similar work of value not less than Rs. 268 Lakh in the role of prime contractor in the last five financial years. The value will be updated to the price level of the financial year 2024-25 at a rate of 5% per year. Specific values and percentages mentioned include: - Rs 268 Lakh: the minimum value of the contract for similar work - 90% or more: the percentage of works completed under the contract of similar work for substantial completion The bidder is also required to provide information on the total contract amount and participation in the total contract amount if they were a member of a joint venture or a sub-contractor. The proportionate JV share of the Member as per Contract Agreement signed with the Client shall be considered for evaluation. The available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value of the work. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, the number of years prescribed for completion of the works, and the value of existing commitments on ongoing works. A multiplier of 1.5 is used in the calculation of the assessed available bid capacity.
