The bidder should have prior work experience of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The required information includes total monetary value of civil construction work performed for each of the last five years, experience in works of a similar nature and size, and details of works underway or contractually committed. The bidder should have completed a similar work as a prime contractor with a value of at least the specified amount. They should also have a minimum annual financial turnover of a specified amount and should have completed one similar work as a prime contractor with a value of at least the specified amount. The bidder should provide information on the quantities of work executed as a prime contractor for main items of work. They should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 60% of the estimated cost of the package for works of value up to Rs 200 lakhs and 75% of the estimated cost of the package for works of value more than Rs 200 lakhs in any one year. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed (not less than 90% of contract value) at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3rd of the estimated value. They should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work as indicated, not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. The bidder is required to have a minimum value of similar work experience, with the specific amount to be filled in. They should have completed quantities of works that are at least 40% of the major items of the online bill of quantities. The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 10% per year based on rupee value to bring them to the present price level. The bidder should have access to or availability of credit facilities of at least 10% of the estimated cost and should be able to invest a minimum of 25% of the contract value of work during implementation of the contract. They should also have a minimum cash investment of up to 25% of the value of the work.
