The required prior work experience for the bidder includes specific construction and contract management experience. The bidder must have completed contracts of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. For key activity No. One, the bidder must have completed at least 53 MT of steel reinforcement in one or more contracts in any one year of the last five years. The bidder should have experience of substantial completion of at least one similar work of value not less than Rs. 148.22 lakhs in the role of prime contractor in the last five financial years. The similar work is defined as “Construction of one RCC/PSC Girder Bridge with well/pile foundation having span of 10 m in a contract of value not less than Rs. 148.22 Lakh across channel/river in a road project.” The bidder should have completed 90% or more of the works under the contract, which is considered as substantial completion. The bidder must also have a minimum average annual construction turnover of Rs. 185.27 lakhs in at least two of the last five financial years. The bidder should have access to finance to meet the cash flow requirements, with a positive net worth, bank dedicated limit, and working capital available, which should be sufficient to meet the construction cash flow requirements of Rs. 30.88 lakhs. Additionally, the bidder should have experience in specific key activities, including successful completion of 53 MT of steel reinforcement, 330 cum of RCC work, and 3157 cum of earthwork in excavation, earthwork in filling in embankment/subgrade. The percentage of similar works completed is 90% or more, and the value of similar work is not less than Rs. 148.22 lakhs. The bidder should provide the percentage participation in the total contract amount for each contract, and the actual quantity performed for each contract.
