Other requirements for bid capacity include having access to or availability of credit facilities (minimum 10% of notified contract value) certified by the bankers. The bidder must also meet specific qualification criteria, including achieving a minimum annual financial turnover, satisfactory completion of similar work, and execution of minimum quantities of major items of work. The cost of completed works of previous years is given weightage of 10% per year based on rupee value to bring them to the present price level, using the escalation factor. The bidder should also demonstrate experience and resources sufficient to meet the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts, with a calculated available bid capacity based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. Additionally, the bidder should have a record of not abandoning any works under the Public Works Roads Department, nor should any contract for works under the Public Works Roads Department have been rescinded in the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed mentioned are: * 1/3 (one third) of the DNIT value * 90% of the contract value * 40% of the estimated quantity * 10% weightage per year based on the rupee value The bidder should also provide evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities, with a minimum of 10% of the notified contract value. The bidder should have executed at least one similar work with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. The bidder must provide an undertaking for investment of a minimum cash amount up to 25% of the value of the work during the implementation of the contract. The bidder must provide information on their total monetary value of civil construction work performed for each of the last five years, as well as their experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years.
