The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed similar works in the last 5 years, with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work in the IFB, which is not less than one-third of the contract value. The bidder should have also executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. The annual financial turnover amount should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year of the respective value of work. However, for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers, the relaxation in qualification criteria is 25% of the DNIT in any one year. The bidder needs to provide a certificate of similar nature of work done, completed in the last 5 years, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge, as well as a certificate of executed quantities of work done in the last 5 years. The bidder also needs to provide information on the total value of Civil Engineering construction work performed in the last 5 years, with specific values required for each year from 2020-2021 to 2024-2025. Additionally, the bidder should have access to or availability of credit facilities of at least 10% of the notified contract value and needs to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the Contract. The completion rate of similar work should be not less than 90% of the contract value. The bidder should have completed a single similar work with a value that can be verified through a credential certificate. The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 10% per year based on the rupee value to bring them to the present price level.
