The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor, at least one similar work of value not less than one third of the estimated cost of work, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. The bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 67% of the estimate cost of the Package in any one year. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The bidder's experience will also be assessed based on the value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the next year. The bidder should have completed works with a value that allows them to have an assessed available bid capacity of more than the total bid value, calculated as (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year, N is a factor based on the completion of the works, and B is the value of existing commitments and ongoing works. The bidder is required to have prior work experience, specifically in the last 5 years, with a certificate of similar nature of work done, completed in the last 5 years, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge. The bidder's annual financial turnover should be at least 2/3rd of the NIT value for the last 5 years. The bidder needs to provide certificates from the Engineer(s)-in Charge for the works completed, along with details such as name of work, name of the employer, quantity of work performed, and remarks. The value and percentage of similar works completed include: - one third of the estimated cost of work - 90% of the contract value - 40% of the estimated quantity - 67% of the estimate cost of the Package - 2/3rd of the NIT value Additionally, the bidder should have liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities of not less than 10% of the estimated cost of the package, and an undertaking for investment of minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work.
