The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work of a similar nature performed as a prime contractor over the last five years. The bidder should have completed a value of similar work that is at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work, which translates to at least 33.33% of the contract value. The annual financial turnover requirement is 67% of the DNIT value. The quantity of work requirement is 40% of the estimated quantity of major items. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 of the DNIT value, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. The bidder's financial annual turnover for the last five years is also required. The total value of Civil Engineering construction work performed is also required, with specific values for each year. The bidder needs to provide evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities, which is at least 10% of the notified contract value, certified by the bankers. The bidder is also required to provide an audited Balance sheet of the last 5 years.
