The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed works during the last 5 years ending last day of submission of tender. The cost of work shall mean gross value of the completed work including cost of material supplied by the respective Client but excluding those supplied by the client free of cost. The bidder should have experience of having completed: - Three similar completed works, each cost not less than the amount equal to 40% of Estimated cost put to tender. - Or, Two similar completed works, each cost not less than the amount equal to 60% of Estimated cost put to tender. - Or, One similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of Estimated cost put to tender. The bidder should have executed similar electrical works under Govt./Semi Govt./ PSU etc. for a minimum amount of 40% of electrification works in a single job. Similarly, the bidder should have executed similar Fire-fighting works under Govt./Semi Govt./ PSU etc. for a minimum amount of 40% of the works in a single job. The value of executed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual executed value of work at simple interest rate of 7% per annum calculated from the date of completion to previous day of last date of submission for bids. For joint ventures, the experience of other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. One of the joint venture partners can be included primarily to provide financial strength to the joint venture, and such partner shall have to commit to provide liquidity support to the project to the extent of 20 percent of the value of the contract.
