The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing similar works within the last 07 years. The specific requirements are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The value of the similar works completed should be considered based on the final bill (gross amount) including the PVC amount (if paid) as the completion cost of work, or the total gross amount already paid including the PVC amount (if paid) for substantially completed work. Additionally, for subcontractors, the requirement is to have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, no previous work experience is required for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh.
