The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar nature of works with specific values. The bidder must have completed: - Three similar nature of works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Or Two similar nature of works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Or One similar nature of work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Additionally, for subcontractors, they shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of subcontractor shall be asked. The experience should have been gained during the last 07 years. The bidder's available bid capacity shall be calculated based on the maximum value of construction works executed and payment received in any one of the previous three financial years or the current financial year. The bid capacity is required to be equal to or more than the total bid value of the present tender for tenders having an advertised value of more than Rs 20 crore.
