The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the credentials of the partnership firm. The bidder must have successfully completed any of the following during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar nature of works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar nature of works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar nature of work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of tenders for composite works, the bidder must have successfully completed any of the following during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar nature of works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar nature of works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of tender, - One similar nature of work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of subcontractor shall be asked for. The similar nature of works for this instant tender shall be “Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of any LT/HT electrical work.” The tenderer should have executed the similar nature of works in Central /State Government department or PSUs of Central /State Government. In case of existing partnership firm, if any one or more partners quit the partnership firm, the credentials of the remaining partnership firm shall be re-worked out. The credentials of the partnership firm shall get enhanced to the extent of credentials of newly added partner(s). If a work is started prior to 7 years but completed in the last 7 years, it shall be considered for fulfillment of credentials. A work is considered substantially completed if payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value (excluding the payment made for adjustment of Price variation) has been made to the contractor. The credential certificate for substantially completed work should have been issued not prior to 60 days of the date of invitation of the present tender. The value of similar works completed can be calculated based on the final bill (gross amount) including the PVC amount (if paid) for completed work, and the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount (if paid), for substantially completed work. The percentages of similar works completed are 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender, and 35% for subletting of work. The amount for subletting of work is up to Rs 50 lakh.
