The required prior work experience for the bidder is 5 years. Work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor will be considered, provided the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The quantities of work executed as prime contractor or work performed in the past as a nominated sub-contractor will also be considered, provided the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned, but the bidder needs to provide information on the value of contracts completed. However, the bidder must have satisfactory completed similar works with the following requirements: - Three similar works, each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost put on tender, - Two similar works, each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost put on tender, or - One similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The contractor must have achieved an Annual Turnover of at least 30% of the estimated cost in any 3 years during the last 5 years. Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum financial turnover, as indicated, and should have executed a minimum amount of similar electrical works. The bidder should demonstrate experience and resources to meet the qualifying criteria, with a minimum of 25% of the contract value to be invested during the implementation of the work. The bidder's available bid capacity should be more than the total bid value, calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years, with a total monetary value of construction work performed for each of the last five years. The bidder should have a profit-making record for the last five years. The bidder should have a minimum of 10% of the contract value as a line of credit, certified by the Bankers, and not more than 3 months old. The bidder should undertake to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of work during the implementation of the work. The liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities required is 10% of the tender value. The quantities of work are specified as: - Cement Concrete: 70 Cu m - Brick Work: 60 Cum - Steel Work (Reinforcement): 80 Qtl - The cost of electric work is 6.00 lakh.
