The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the cost of the works. For works costing between Rs. 50 lakh to 1000 lakh, a Degree holder in Engineering with at least 4 years of practical experience of works is required. For works costing between Rs. 7.5 lakh to 50 lakh, a Degree holder in Engineering with at least 2 years of practical experience of works is required. For works costing below Rs. 7.5 lakh, a Diploma holder in Engineering with adequate practical experience of works is required. For works costing over Rs. 300 lakhs, the bidder should have at least 5 years of practical experience of works as a Degree holder in Engineering, and adequate numbers of Diploma holders in Engineering with at least 8 years of practical experience. For works costing between Rs. 100 lakhs and Rs. 300 lakhs, the bidder should have at least 4 years of practical experience as a Degree holder in Engineering, or at least 6 years of practical experience as a Diploma holder in Engineering. For works costing between Rs. 60 lakhs and Rs. 100 lakhs, the bidder should have at least 3 years of practical experience as a Degree holder in Engineering, or at least 5 years of practical experience as a Diploma holder in Engineering. For works costing between Rs. 7.5 lakhs and Rs. 60 lakhs, the bidder should have at least 2 years of practical experience as a Degree holder in Engineering, or at least 4 years of practical experience as a Diploma holder in Engineering. For works costing between Rs. 2 lakhs and Rs. 7.5 lakhs, the bidder should have a Degree or Diploma in Engineering with adequate practical experience. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned. However, individual work experience and average annual turnover are considered for upgradation to the stipulated eligible class. For contract sum exceeding Rs 10 lakh but not exceeding Rs 100 lakh, the amount is Rs 20,000 plus 2% of Contract Sum exceeding Rs 10 lakh, subject to a maximum of Rs 1,00,000. For contract sum exceeding Rs 100 lakh, the amount is 1% of Contract Sum, subject to a maximum of Rs 5 lakh. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is 4 percent of the contract value, subject to a maximum of Rs. 25 lakhs.
