Disconnecting all incoming/outgoing cables and earth strips, removing the transformer of capacity upto 500 KVA from the platform / floor and loading it in the vehicle carefully using crane and transporting it to the contractor's workshop, carry out the required repairs and transport the transformer back to the site , install it, reconnect all the incoming/out going cables and earth strips by properly crimping using lugs of suitable size lugs, taping the LT / HT bushes / bus bars, using LT / HT insulation tape and testing complete of following capacity all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (a) Shifting and fixing transformer from own arrangent temporarily from MES Area to that area ( Back up Transformer will be provided by MES) (b) The cost of transportation of 2 transformers between Existing location and the Workshop is deemed to be included in the unit price. (c) Gasket set, LT/HT side porcelein / ceramic bushing, spindle for HT/LT side , rewinding, dehydration of oil (if required) shall be measured and paid separately in respective items as supply and fix.

(d) Dismantling the spring charging mechanism of the VCB, checking the operations of the closing/tripping through closing/tripping coils electrically as well as manual charging including cleaning re-adjusting worn out parts etc.
(e) Checking the condition of the spring charging motor along with gear box including providing servicing to the motor commutator bushes, lubrication of bearing surfaces etc.
(f) Calibration of relays and meter of VCB, for making it fully functional and in earth fault, over current etc relay can be work and trip the VCB.
(g) Inspecting all bolts, nuts, pins and ensure collar pins are in place and they are tight and opened properlycomplete all as specified and directed by EIC up to his full satisfaction.

Note for repairing and servicing of VCB : (i) All T&P and intruments, testing kit, primary injection kit to be bring by contractor for reparing, testing and calibration of VCB.
(ii) Contractor shall submit the test sheet of VCB testing before and after carried out repairing and calibration of relays & meters. Testing of VCB to be done in presence of Engineer in Charge
(iii) Repairing, servicing and calibration of VCB shall be done through expert technician/engineer of OEM/ Expert technician/engineer of ASEDCL.
(iv) Contractor shall made the DC supply fuctional for functionality of all relays on DC supply.
(v) Any minor parts not catered in scope if required to be replace for makeing the VCB serviceable to be provided by the contractor without any extra charge.
