Comprehensive maintenance of 05 Ton capacity EOT crane installed at different buildings/ locatios,restoring the cranes in serviceable condition through Authorised Original Equipment Manufacturer's Service Centre Engineers or through OEM Certified Agencies as approved, complete all as specified and directed with and including opeartions for maintenance specified as under:- (A) LONG TRAVERSE MOTION/CROSS TRAVERSE MOTION/HOIST MOTION- (a) Checking gear box oil level, checking and rectifiaction of leakage if any and filling with new oil up to required level. (b) Checking functioning of all brakes of any capacity and making adjustment for proper working. (c) Checking motion wheel for any abnormal sound & checking mounting/ fixing arrangement. (d) Checking of grease in geared coupling and tighting of nut/bolts etc. (e) Checking of motion cut off at extreme ends with limit switches. (f) Checking drive shaft and coupling including tighting of nut and bolts. (g) Checking oil in thrustors checking any leakage any filling with new oil. (h) Checking terminal connection of all LT motion of three phase electric motor and tightening properly including repalcing burnt out/ over heated cable ends if any. (B) ELECTRICALS (a) Checking and tightening all electric connections (b) Checking the contactors/ relays etc for overheating or flashinng. (c) Clening off all connection and control cables. (d) Bunching the loose control cable properly . (e) Checking functioning of cable carriers. (f) Checking the connection and serviceability of VVVF drives for smooth working. (C) GROUND MOTION CONTROL PANEL Opening the push button control unit, checking all connection, replacing flashed/over heated connections, general cleaning and checking all the functions of the LT/CT/Hoist motion push buttons and lights/VVVF switch including reassembling the unit complete

LOAD TESTING:- Load testing complete for LT/CT/Hoist motion of the 5 Ton EOT cranes ( Installed at different locations with in TA complex) for 125% capacity using any type of dead weight complete and as directed. Notes:- 1. Necessary weights will be arranged by the MES. 2. Shifting of load at site and shifting to different buidings/ locations with in the complex using truck/mobile crane etc of suitable capacity shall be arranged by the contractor. 3. Tools, tackles ,chains and sling etc of suitable capacity required for load testing shall be arranged by the contractor. 4. Unit rate quoted shall be inclusive of adjustment of brakes, motors, gear boxes,electrical system, load hook, steel wire ropes, limit switches and all related items. 5. OEMs for EOT Cranes: Ramc Crane/ Safex Industries Ltd./Microtech 6.) Contractor shall produced serviceability certificate after servicing /repairing ,duly signe by user and deposit the same to the Dept for payment purpose .7.)Works shall be executed through specialist firm who was sufficient experienced on the scope of work. Before commencement of work, approval shall be obtained from the GE 8.) Service Engineer shall visit minimum once in a month and take serviceability certificate duly signed by the user. 9.. Each maintenance job shall be covered period of 06 Months

Dismantaling of hoisting motor,3 Phase,3 HP capacity,from EOT Cranes,removing burnt out windings with insulating materials,cleaning throughly internally and externally, rewinding motor with super enamelled copper wires of existing size/gauge including provision of all insulating materials,lubrication of bearing / bushes using fresh lubricant all as per OEMs reccommendations, replacement of defective parts,re-assembling,including testing and commissioning, complete all as specified and directed.

(iii) Rewinding of barrier assembly and transformer assembly will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this BOQ. (iv) Topping up of oil tank with new transformer oil if required will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this BOQ.However the quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of the rate for filteration and dehydration of the existing transformer oil.
