Bringing approved earth (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any, transportation, taxes etc. for area filling/ forming embankments including raising of original ground level(any height from OGL) or lowering by approved earth and including earth spreading in layers not exc 30cm thick each layer, watering, compaction with 8 tone to 12 tone power roller and finished to required size and shape etc, any high from EGL. Notes for : (i) Earth required for the item, shall be supplied by contractor, from outside MOD land of any lead, at his own arrangement. (ii) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction, royalties, tax etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) With reference to clause 3.6 of MES schedule Part-II on serial page No.21 it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be of finished embankment of filled earth after consolidation/compaction and 5% deduction shall be made from measured and calculated volume to allow for increase in bulk.

M & L for 150 mm diameter DWCPE (SN8) drain pipes, grade A laid in trenches and jointed as specified.

RCC Septic tank CONVENTIONAL type designed to carry sewage and sullage water, excavation in any type of soil, PCC 1:4:8 below foundation, RCC M-30 Design Mix in Walls , Base Slab , Baffle walls and Roof Slab including beams etc with Vent shaft , manhole openings with cover connection etc., complete all as shown on drawing of chief engineer siliguri zone drwg no. TD/SZ/504.

Soakage wells excavation, in any type of soil, foundation in PCC 1:3:6, walls of honey combed masonry with top ring of M25 concrete including intercepting chamber and screen chamber made of Brick masonary in CM, RCC cover slab in M25/ SFRC cover, interconnecting pipes of RCC/DWC complete filled with brick bats complete all as shown on drawing of chief engineer siliguri zone drwg no. TD/SZ/502.

M&L for construction of brick masonry valve pit of size 900x900x900mm (internal dimension) one brick thick wall in CM 1:4 on 100mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (40mm graded aggregate) as in foundation, and 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortor (1:4) internally, externally up to 15 cm below GL, providing valve pit cover made of 75 mm thick RCC Slab , embeded in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (20mm graded aggregate) block of size 230 x 200 x 100 mm including two coats of anti-corrosive paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil complete all as specified & directed.

Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 150 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure.

M&L for cable route indicator using PCC post 600 mm long, 150 x 150 mm with height not less than 400 mm above GL with engraved marking “LT CABLE” in bold letters during refilling of the trench complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : The spacing between two consecutive cable route indicators shall not be more than 30.00 meters and also shall be provided at each and every bend or corner.

S&F of Fire extinguisher, ISI marked, Dry Chemical Powder (ABC) type all as confirming to IS : 15683 of capacity 9 Kg with suitable hanging / fixing arrangement on wall etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
