Screening road metal, chippings, etc. on the site of the work, when specially ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring (Materials from both sides of screen measured) complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying evenly a priming coat with bituminous primer (paving grade bitumen VG-10 grade) @ 10 kg per 10 sq metres complete all as specified & as directed.

Repair to potholes any depth, exe 30 mm and not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at the rate of 05 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with bitumen 9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinded with 0.09 cum stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for bituminous macadam not exceeding 75 mm thickness (compacted thickness) using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined as per IRC 27: 2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹55 per kg.

M & L for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (paving grade bitumen VG-10 grade) @ 5 kg per 10 sq metres complete all as specified & as directed.

M & L for bituminous concrete 40 mm (compacted thickness) using graded crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) @ 5.5% by weight of total mix & hydraulic lime filler, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Semi dense bituminous concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined following the Marshall Mix Design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 (Sixth Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111: 2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹55 per kg.

Demolition of cement concrete(unreinforced) above ground floors exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level)

Providing and laying 80 mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M40 grade conforming to IS 15658-2006 made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved size, design & shape, cast in, of approved colour, laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 80 mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M40 grade conforming to IS 15658-2006 made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved size, design & shape, cast in , no pigment, over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for cement concrete M10 (Nominal Mix) using 40 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate 100 mm thick in sub base for laying tiles, pavings etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M & L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L brick work except brick straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and applying3.00 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) for non continious strip and continious side strip of 100/150mm wide of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi-automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and fixing Glow studs (cat's eye) of size 80 to 100 mm X 100 to 120 mm X 15 to 20 mm made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite ) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The cats eye shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35⁰ ± 5⁰ to base .The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Make- DA978 series or equivalent make as given in Appx B

Supply and fix plastic speed bump of size 70 mm (height) X 245 mm (width) X 730 mm (length), ABS block black and yellow & 02 no high reflective reflectors moulded in PMMA, fixed with nails and epoxy/thermoplastic adhesive (bas bumper and hole) with two different colour band pattern on road surface all as per manufacturers instructions and complying to guidelines issued by Min of Road Transport. etc. complete. Make- DA-1006 of Dark Eye or equivalent make as given in Appx B.

Supply and fix plastic speed bump of size 50 mm (height) X 245 mm (width) X 350 mm (length), ABS block black and yellow & 02 no high reflective reflectors moulded in PMMA, fixed with nails and epoxy/thermoplastic adhesive (bas bumper and hole) with two different colour band pattern on road surface all as per manufacturers instructions and complying to guidelines issued by Min of Road Transport. etc. complete. Make- DA-1005 of Dark Eye or equivalent make as given in Appx B.

S & F solar road studs of size not less than 125X 125 X 25 mm made of weather resistance aluminium alloy and poly carbonate material electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by the Engineer in charge. The cats eye shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35⁰ ± 5⁰ to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM E: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 :1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The solar panel shall be high efficiency mono crystalline 2.5 V/60 m A and the battery shall be one Ni-mh type (1.2 V/1200 m Ah) high temp for backup of 36 hours full charging. The flash frequency shall be 60 ± 5 times per minute. Make- Model no 111 JUGNU of Dark Eye or equivalent makes as given in Appx B
