Opening of top and bottom cover of pressure feed type filtration plant 5000 to 10000 gallons capacity per hours, taking out old filter media including old strainer etc and removing and depositing at nearest dump all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Scraping and cleaning the surface bed, inner and outer surfaces of the Iron Removal Plant shell for complete removal of scales, rust, old paint etc and painting with two coats of anti corrosive bituminous paint (lead free) suitable for storage of potable water (for internal surfaces) connected valves, frontel pipes as per colour code and write (size of lettering 65 mm height) on indicated space ie. DATE OF CHANGING FILTER MEDIA............., CAPACITY OF TANK ..........., MES NO ............, SM No........etc. in white synthetic enamel paint over black back ground synthetic enamel paint of 10000 gallons capacity filtration plant complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note:- (i) Before charging of filter media contractor shall carry out raw water testing for all parameters. (ii) After completion of the change of filter media the treated water is to be send for water testing for all parameters with in 10 days. (iii) All testing connected with water, should be done from Govt/Govt approved laboratory. (iv) The water testing cost is deemed to be included in quoted rate.

(b) Maximum two times cleaning of each tank in entire contract period (Measured and paid separately each time).

Labour only for cleaning of under ground sump of capacity 20,000 gallon, including removal / taking out of sludge, cleaning of side wall by jute with necessary bleaching powder, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) Consumption of bleaching powder for cleaning of each tank shall not be less than 12 kg and is included in unit rate quoted. (b) Maximum two times cleaning of each tank in entire contract period (Measured and paid separately each time).

M & L for preparing old painted steel or iron surfaces of any size by removing dust, rust with the help of sand paper and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint on surfaces of machineries, equipment, steel structure at sewage pump and water Supply pump installations etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. Note :- T&P installed at sewage well No 1 to 03 & Water supply pump house and connected items shall only be measured under this item.

Pumping out raw sewage water using pump sets diesel engine driven from sewage plant installation for cleaning (removal of sludge and silt) of the installation including blocking flow of sewage from nearby manhole etc till the each individual job is completed for Under ground sewage sump well of size internal dia 5.20m and depth 5.30m sewage well, for 08 (Eight ) hours per day minimum and disposal of the same through proper pipelines to a distance not less than 150 mtr from the installation for following:- Notes:- (i) Removal and desludging will be measured and paid under srl item No. 26 hereinafter. The desludging/de-watering shall be done one time only in the interval of minimum 06 months, if pumping required at site more than one time will be done by prior written approval of Engineer-in-charge. (ii) Diesel engine pump & other T & P including fuel will be arranged by contractor under his own arrangements.

Cleaning and desludging of sewage sump well of size internal dia 5.20m and 5.30m deep from ground level by removing sludge and silt completely with suitable means (mechanical and/or manual) from the bottom of sewage sump by scrapping out deposit, sludge etc including the side walls of sewage sump well with the help of scraper, wire brush etc cleaning with clear water using pressure water jet, removing the sludge and silt and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-Charge to a distance not exceeding 08 Kms from the sewage well by covered motor van/tractor trolley ensuring that sludge does not spoil the roads. cleaning the area around the sewage sump not exceeding 2m on either side including cutting of bushes etc and cleaning the site complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out unserviceable mild steel cover of valve pit chamber and supply and fixing covers of valve pit chamber duly hinged fabricating the frame by using 3.15mm thick mild steel sheet and angle iron frame 50mmx50mmx6mm thick including making locking arrangement and fixing the cover in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and providing hold fast of appropriate size made to shape of 50mmx6mm flat iron including painting the sheet & frame with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified & directed.

To collect water sample (raw and treated water) from PH No - 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 09, 10 Nos AF Stn chabua, in plastic bottles and testing it from recognized water testing laboratory for following test complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. (I) Chemical analysis of Raw water (pH total Solids, Turbidity, Hardness, Calcium, Magnesium, Sulphate, Chloride & Iron) (ii) Chemical analysis of Treated water (as mentioned above) (iii) Bacteriological analysis of Raw water (total count, Coliform & E. coli) (iv) Bacteriological analysis of Treated water (as mentioned above)

M&L in repair To measure the depth of water, a board has to be placed on top of the water tank in which the height is written and a mark is placed on it so that we can know how far the water has reached. Supply and Fix for unplasticised PVC medium well casing (CM) pipe of 150 mm diameter (Internal), minimum wall thickness 7.5 mm conforming to IS : 12818-2010 including fittings fittings & accessories etc for all depths complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. by Engr in charge. NOTE :- The quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following factors :- 1) Clamping for PP-R pipe on wall, the distance between two clamps not more than 0.5 mtr and clamp must be for PP-R pipe only (not iron clamp) fixed to walls/ceiling by drilling holes and inserting PVC raw plugs and tightening with SS screws not less than 1½" long as per manufacturer's instructions. 2) Flanges in pipe lines shall be provided at an interval of not exceeding 30 mtr in continuous lengths. 3) Where required "Tee & bend/elbow", insert flanges in both/all sides of "Tee & bend/elbow" shall be provided
