M&L of UG cable XLPE insulated,armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor,1100 Volts grade,cross section area incl lugs of size 240 sq mm 3.5 core complete all as directed. Note : i) Necessary excavation, returning and filling shall be measured separately ii) Rate quoted shall be inclusive oif making electrical connection at both end with AL lugs, cable gland and suitable gland and suitable gland as required at site. iii) On ground Factory test for the quantity more than 100 RM to be carried out by Engineer-in-Charge, JE E/M and the contractor at manufacturer's godown / factory / testing lab situated at OEM's premises in front of OEM's technician / lab engineer and results shall be recorded duly signed by all concerned and the technician / lab engineer. Necessary arrangements for testing shall be made by the contractor. The material shall only be incorporated after getting satisfactory results and the rates quoted is deemed to be included for the above and no extra claim shall be admissible on this account. The test reports with satisfactory results duly signed shall be forwarded alongwith RAR failing which no payment shall be admissible against this item. Thickness of insulation and cables shall be ensured as per IS code by Engr-in-Charge using vernier calipers.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60cmx6mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level. connecting to the Galvanised iron earth strip 32x6mm size by means of bolls, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron and earth strip protected by provision of GI medium grade pipe 40mm bore including provision of concrete pit in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates with 40mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) reinforced with XPM weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 40x40x6mm with lugs 02 Nos and handle of 6mm dia MS bar made to shape, GI light grade 20mm bore pipe for watering, perforated at bottom. 1.75 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate. charcoal and common salt filled 150mm thick all around each plate, test point made out of 40x8mm flat iron galvanised with fixing arrangement, funnel wire mesh and earth work in any type of soil returing filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meters all as per electical plate -3 of SSR-2009 Part-I and connecting to earth test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion.

M & L for dismantling of ACSR or AAC conductors of any sizes or types etc. complete, setting aside for taking credit and replacement with new cable complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for dismantling of cross arms of M.S.Channels or angle sections etc. complete and depositing to MES store yard for reuse the serviceable steel sections complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for taking out of old unsv cable of any sizes or types for replacement with new one complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for dismantling of insulators of any type and sizes and depositing to MES store yard for reuse the serviceable insulators complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
