Preparing un-surfaced WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brush for removing caked/mud etc. sweeping with broom and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-30 @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Premix bituminous macadam, with paving bitumen, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 as binder, camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. (Note: (i) The rates are worked out on the basis of binder content of 4% by weight of total mix. No extra payment shall be made for any additional requirement binder content (ii) Bitumenous macadam shall be laid by using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be carried out by using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tripper)

M & L for Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in pre mixed bituminous mecadam using paving bitumen, well rammed (including supply of pre mixed mecadam binder) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed. (Note: (i) The rates are worked out on the basis of binder content of 4% by weight of total mix. No extra payment shall be made for any additional requirement binder content (ii) Bitumenous macadam shall be laid by using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be carried out by using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tripper)

M & L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 and hydraulic lime filter, rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and pre-mixed material laid by using mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required compaction complete all as specified and directed. (Note: (i) The rates are worked out on the basis of binder content of 5.5% (Min) by weight of total mix. No extra payment shall be made for any additional requirement of binder content (ii) Bitumenous macadam shall be laid by using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be carried out by using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tripper)

Material and labour for preparation of surface of road etc and applying 2.5mm thick road marking strips, lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc (reflective type) of colour white or golden yellow on road, pavements and the like exc 10cm wide with hot thermoplastic road marking paint by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, drive by skilled operator on road surfaces complete as per MORTH specifications (Cluase No. 803.40) complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: Application shall be carried out through mechanical means by the approved applicator of the manufacturer of paint)

S & F in repair cat eye, solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mmx100mmx20mm with PAMA striplens reflector fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size complete all as per manufacturer's instruction and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Make: Dark Eye Model No. DA 972 or equivalent model of make TATA BP Solar or 3M/Sinor)

S & F in repair Solar cat eye, of size 125mmx125mmx25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Waterproof, energy-saving and Eco-friendly made out of solid aluminum-alloy shell powered by solar cells and panels, Solar panel mono-crystalline solar 2.4 V / 0.3 Watt, One Ni-Mh or Ni-cd rechargeable battery [1.2V/1600MA] with six super bright LED with 10000 to 18000 mcd (Milicandela) with a minimum operating time of 3-4 consecutive days with full charge, viewing distance/visibility not less than 800m with 2 Hz Flash Rate, self operated from Dusk to Dawn, anti twist ribs on the bottom anchor/shank with high intensity reflective grade polymer sticker and confirming to IS-12063 of colour code yellow or red or blue or green or white as approved complete all as per manufacturer's instruction and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. S & F in repair metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 50 mm dia powder coated MS pipe top mounted of size 600 mm high (above GL) and embeded in and including PCC 1:3:6, type C-1 (using 20mm graded aggregate) of suitable size including necessary excavation and earth work complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
