Drilling pilot bore hole of 250 mm dia by Reverse Rotary Drilling Method as described in IS 2800: 2019 in any kind of soil strata including hard stone/boulder beyond 120 m depth below ground level, including compound/ powder like valmite, bentonite solution, local silty clay etc. to be required as per the site condition including collecting samples from different strata, preparing and submitting strata chart/ bore log all complete all as specified and directed.

Resistivity variation studies in bore hole drilled by electric logging of pilot bores by expert of Geology division to know the potential and temperature probes of drinking water by approved agency duly collaborated with strata chart/bore log complete all as specified and as directed.

Reaming 250 mm dia pilot bore to 550 mm dia bore upto 60 metre depth below ground level complete all as specified and as directed.

Reaming 250 mm dia pilot bore to 550 mm dia bore upto 120 metre depth and beyond 60 m depth below ground level complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, assembling, jointing and lowering PVC casing pipe (CM) for water wells, plain ended, 250 mm nominal bore of pipe, min 12.5 mm wall thickness, UNPLASTICIZED type, PVC pipe conforming to IS 12818 : 2010 and fixing in position in different depth as directed, with male and female threads allowing to be fitted with other pipe in well complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying, assembling, jointing and lowering PVC casing pipe (CM) for water wells, plain ended, 150 mm nominal bore of pipe, min 7.5 mm wall thickness, UNPLASTICIZED type, PVC pipe conforming to IS 12818 : 2010 and fixing in position in different depth as directed, with male and female threads allowing to be fitted with other pipe in well complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying, assembling, jointing and lowering PVC ribbed Filter screen pipe for water wells, 150 mm nominal bore of pipe, min 9.5 mm wall thickness, UNPLASTICIZED type, PVC pipe conforming to IS 12818 : 2010 and fixing in position in different depth as directed, with male and female threads allowing to be fitted with other pipe in well complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F reducer, 150 mm X 250 mm size, made of material as per IS 4270: 2001, conforming to IS 2800: 2019 complete all as specified and as directed.

Development of tube well in accordance with IS 2800: 2019 and IS:11189 with compressed air method (open well method), to establish maximum rate of usable water yield without sand content (beyond permissible limit), with required capacity air compressor, running the compressor for required time till well is fully developed, measuring yield of well by “V” notch method or any other approved method, measuring static level & draw down etc. by step draw down method, collecting water samples & getting tested in approved laboratory, including disinfection of tube well, all complete, including hire & labour charges of air compressor, tools & accessories etc., all as per requirement complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for yield testing of tube well by continous run with suitable equipment all as per IS-2800 part-II of 1979 including complete testing of water suitable for drinking purpose as per IS-10500 of 1991 from DRL (Defence Research Lab) testing Laboratory approved by GE and report shall be submitted to GE. The well shall be tested 24 hours continuous after development of the well to ascertain the yield. The air compressure/higher capacity pump required for the development of the well by means of over pumping shall be arranged by the contractor at his own arrangement without claiming any extra payment from the Deptt.

Supply and lowering column pipe 80 mm bore both end flanged made out of GI tubing medium grade welded at end of column pipe cutting of groove to house submersible cable 3 core length of each column pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F clamp for Column pipe, made of flat iron of hot rolled medium and high tensile structural steel of grade E 250 quality C conforming to IS 2062: 2011 and as per IS 2800: 2019 including necessary bolts & nuts of required size complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, designing, packing gravel (hard, insoluble and roughly rounded) of particle size ranges (2 mm to 3.35 mm, 3.35 mm to 4.75 mm, 4.75 mm to 6.3 mm, 6.3 mm to 8 mm, 8 mm to 12.5 mm) to the tube well in accordance with IS: 4097 as per the site requirement complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F well cap to the top of bore well, made of flat iron of hot rolled medium and high tensile structural steel of grade E 250 quality C conforming to IS 2062: 2011 and as per IS 2800: 2019 including necessary bolts & nuts of required size complete all as specified and as directed.

Carrying out testing of water sample of untreated water for all parameters mentioned in Table 1 to Table 6 of IS 10500: 2012 from NEIST Jorhat/ DRL Tezpur or any approved Lab as approved by the GE complete all as specified and as directed.

Disinfection of bore well as per IS 2800: 2019 using 200 milligrams of powdered chlorine compound per litre of water present in the well and left in the well for at least 8-12 hours to ensure elimination of any bacteria complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing mild steel chain made of 6 mm dia rod of size 20 mm X 38 mm for holding submersible pump set/column pipe including pipe including necessary holding mild steel clamp nuts, bolts etc. complete all as directed.

Supply and laying or fixing or passing through pipe PVC insulated cable for working voltages of 1100 V, PVC sheathed, 3 core, nominal cross sectional area of main conductor 6 sqmm, solid aluminium conductor, ISI marked as per IS 1554(Part-I): 1988 including cable glands, lugs etc. to suit the cable size in service connections complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of stainless steel 12.5 HP submersible pump, electric driven 415 V, TP suitable for 250 mm dia bore well ( Casing pipe size 250 mm) , flow rate 600-1800 ltrs/min, head range 22-49 m, complete all as specified and as directed.Make :Crompton

S & F bail plug/ bottom plug with hook, 150 mm size, made of PVC, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, laying , jointing, testing and commissioning PVC insulated cable for working voltages of 1100 V, PVC sheathed, armoured, 3 core with reduced neutral conductors (3½ core), nominal cross sectional area of main conductor 25 sqmm, stranded aluminium conductor, ISI marked as per IS 7098(Part-I): 1988 including cable glands, lugs etc. to suit the cable size and to be laid in trenches, fixed along pole, under floors, through GI pipe laid under floors/roads, through concealed GI pipe along wall etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for construction of new valve chamber of size 600 mm X 600 mm X 600 mm with burnt brick (Sub class B) including necessary earth work in any type of soil, PPC foundation (1:4:8) type D-2 20 mm grade stone aggregate as in base concrete, brick work in CM 1:4 with 10 mm thick plaster internally and 15 mm thick externally in CM 1:4, 4 mm thick MS cover with hinges and locking arrangement fixed to angle iron frame made out of 40 mm X 40 mm X 6 mm MS angles complete with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide prime on all metal works & three coats of white wash on all plastered surfaces of valve chambers complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for locating the fault of UG cable/ pole foundation/cable trench/stays complete all as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as directed.

Removing excavated materials not exc 50M and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as directed.

M & L for laying of bricks locally available sub class 'B' bricks (old size) for cable protection cover laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable perpendicular to the direction of cable all as directed.

Supply & spreading in trenches sand cushioning to underground cable in trenches including spreading, levelling hand punning down complete all as specified and directed Note:- Depth of sand cushioning will be measured after punning down and levelling the sand properly.
