Maintenance, Supervision, monitoring, repair and servicing of water supply distribution system through SCADA Software in sound condition & PLC base control panels including all components, day to day systematically examining, adjusting and repairing/ replacement of any defective major or minor genuine parts/ software with original parts/ software of same manufacturer's and any other left out items for safe, smooth and un-interrupted functioning of water supply system comprising the followings :- (a) Programmable logic control panels : 12 Nos (b) GPRS base wireless Dual Sim Card communication panels : 12 Nos (c) Valves : 50 Nos (d) PC : 1 No (e) Software : 1 No (f) BSNL Broad Band : 1 No (g) Magnetic float switch sensors : 100 Nos (h) Pressure switch : 8 Nos (j) Actuators alongwith butter fly valves : 50 Nos (k) Residual chlorine transmitter : 1 No (l) PC based SCADA : 1 No (m) UPS : 11 No (n) Indoor type graphic mimic panel : 1 No Contd...../-

Notes :- (i) The maintenance / repair work shall be carried out through OEM only. The lowest bidder shall be obliged to Sign an MOU with the OEM for carrying out the maintenance & repair work and produce original MOU to accepting officer before acceptance of contract. (ii) The contractor to employ minimum one technical operator (skilled) having ITI certificate in relevant Trade with minimum three year experience of working of SCADA Software & PLC base control panels and one semi skilled tradesman having 10th pass certificate and shall have knowledge of water supply distribution system in general shift of 08 hrs. These technicians shall attent the fault at site if required. However, the contractor shall provide 01 PLC Programmer with requisite experience and adequate knowledge of site and SCDA system at back office to support site technician whenever required. (iii) Replacement of minor parts is deemed to be included in quoted rates, however the payment of major parts replaced shall be made in the respective items of Sch 'A as 'Supply and fix' including taking down unserviceable major part. (iv) If any dispute arises in respect of whether it is minor or major items , the deceision of accepting officer in this regards shall be final & binding.

(v) The contractor shall intimate in writting with regards to change of major items to Engineer-in-Charge/ GE. (vi) All components/ items required to be replaced shall be genuine and original parts of same manufacture's exist at site. The contractor shall got approval of GE before replacement. (vii) All the work shall be executed under the supervision experts provided by the manufacturer as per MOU with the OEM. (viii) The quantity of items against item No1 to 42 is tentative and actual quantity will be arrived during execution only, hence no claim will be entertained on account of variation in Qty. (ix) The tradesmen employed shall also clean all the vegetations in the surrounding area of the OHT/UG Sump, PLC control panel & motorised valve chambers. The cost of the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rates of this item. (x) The above mentioned jobs shall also be completed in odd hours/holidays. The particular job ( fault clear) shall be completed within 8 hours from the notifications of complaint. In case the contractor fails to complete the work in scheduled time, a panel recovery @ Rs 1000.00 per day per complaint shall be made from any payment due to the contractor. (xi) If the conteractor fails to clean/maintain valve pit chamber upto the entire satisfaction of the engineer in charge, a panel recovery @ Rs 200.00 per valve pit chamber shall be made from any patyment due to the contractor. (xii) Due to any reason if valves /SCADA will not operate then , operator will operate valve mannually on schedule time or as required on ground . (xiii) Rates include all monthly net charges include broadband and all 12 nos sim fitted in various locations . Noting extra shall not be claim on this account.
