M&L 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates (Granite, trap or basalt type of aggregate) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber with 8 to 10 ton power roller incl preparing unsurfaced WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat RS I grade cationic emulsion @ 7.5 Kg /10 Sqm using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L re-use 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates (Granite, trap or basalt type of aggregate) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required 'except material ' with 8 to 10 ton power roller incl preparing unsurfaced WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat RS I grade cationic emulsion @ 7.5 Kg /10 Sqm using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads,etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with RS I grade cationic emulsion @ 2.5 Kg per 10 sq m, putting in SDAC as specified die item No 5 here under (2.5cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) in depth of potholes n exc 30mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying RS I grade cationic emulision @ 2.5 Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete(SDAC) 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix providing and laying with mechanical paver and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through National Test House, SEMT wing CME, Regional Research Labs, IITs, National Institutes of Technology, Govt Engineering College or any Govt laboratories and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing SDAC. (ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs.42 per Kg . (iii) The thickeness of SDAC indicated above is the minimum thickness, Further, it is clarified that no payment for the addl. thickness in case required to be provided to achieve the desired levels, slope & making good the undulations etc, all as directed by the GE, shall be made.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floor and pavings n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above the ground level) (un-reinforced) and removing to a distance n.exc 50m distance complete all as specified and as direted by Engr-in-charge.

M & L Hardcore of gauge n.exc 63mm, deposited, spread and leveled in layers n.exc 15mm thick watered and rammed to true surface using broken stone aggregate.

M & L for 100mm thick cement concrete type C2, 1:3:6 (using 40mm graded aggregate ) as in sub base for foot path for receiving for screed bed and tiles etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Chage.

M&L for sand filling under floor or below blocks incl watering and consolidation

M&L Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60mm thickness, M0-35 Grade with grey cement and pigment

M&L for 2.5mm thick road marking strips (retro reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi automatic thermoplastic material applicator machine filled with profile shoe, glass beads dispensers, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced opertator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair two way reflective cat eye studs not less than 100mm x 100mm x 18.5mm made of ABS plastic body of high compressive strength with electronically welded prismatic retro reflective lens on both sides for maximum retro reflection in wet & dry condition fixe with suitable bitumen adhesive on the road surface complete all as specified.

S&F in repair Solar road studs size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm made up of highly compressive materials to sustain over 10 tonnes, 100% water proof design accrding to IP65 with minimum 3 super bright LED lens on each opposite sides (2sides only), with inbuilt solar panel of high effciency mono crystalline not less than 2.4V/0.3 watt with recharge battery not less than 1.2V/1500 MA and fixing the stem firmly intoroad surface as per manufacture instruction by hammering /embedding complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F dual directional delineator 600 mm long made out of 16 gauge MS pipe of stove enameled and baked to 120 degree powdered coated head made out of ABS plastic rectangular mount with flat face provided with high intensity prismatic reflector of colour ( white/yellow/red) of size 100x125 mm with additional two reflector strip of 25 mm wide complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Delineator shall be fixed in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate with size of block 300x300x350 mm deep, excavation and earth work shall be incuded in the unit rate of this item. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account

S&F in repair Solar powered delineator made of Polycarbonate and toughned aluminium alloy body with four super bright LED flashings, high quality reflective solar panel to absorb maximum sun obsorbtion, battery voltage 1.2V, Visibility minimum 120 Mtrs , working time 24-48 Hrs , Dimension of system not less than 145mm x 80mm x 80mm . Fixed on post size 1.0 mtr long made of 50 mm MS pipe painted with stove enamelled black paint including fixing the pole in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) foundation size 20cmx20cmx40cm deep including necessary excavation and removal / disposal of spoils etc.,complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and fix convex mirror 1000mm made of PC material provided with suitable MS pipe post, duly Powder coated, meant for Road turning, intersections, curves, T junctions, Hospital, parking lots etc with clear & definite mirror image having 130 degree of viewing angle, unbreakable & stronger than glass, spring post (710mm x 80mm x 210mm) body of spring is made of special flexible material (polyurethane) without it can be quickly resorted to its original state without doing any damage to spring posts as well as vehicles in case of high speed collision by vehicles. Two bands of reflective tape are pasted on the spring post. Epoxy bond is used to fix the spring post with road surface the bond is so strong that post will not be deviated by strong impact after installation length of spring post 710mm, upper dia 80mm & bottom dia is 210mm complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S & F for retro reflective signage board made out of 600mmx900mmx2mm thick aluminium sheet face to be fully covered with high intensity prismetic (HIP) retro reflective sheeting confirming to ASTMD-4956-01 as per colour required, letters and symbols shall be made of same retro reflective sheeting duly processed on base aluminum substrade board to be supplied alongwith back supported angle iron frame minimum 25x25x3mm all around and mounted on 75mmx75mmx6mm MS angle iron and this angle firmely embeded 0.60m below from ground level in PCC 1:3:6 type, C-2 (Using 40mm graded stone agg) and duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer alongwith fixing accessories complete all as specified and directed in all respects including taking down the old Sign Board. .

Providing and supply of high intensity prismatic sheeting retro reflective advance direction sign board size 1200x900mm rectangular type single side made of out of 2mm thick aluminium panel sheet covered retro reflective H.I. prismatic sheeting letter and figure to be fixed after catching treatment to sheet and fixed on back support frame of size 47mm sq. pipe consisting with two numbers leg post of size 47mm sq. pipe with nut and bolt embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B-I of size 40x40cm and 60cm deep and painted by apoxy paint completed in all respects including taking down the old Sign Board.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective Cautionary /warning sign boards of equilateral triangular shape having each side of 900 mm with support length of 3650 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M.S. angles of size 35x35x5 mm to a vertical post made up to M.S. Tee section ISMT 50x50x6 mm welded with base plate of size 100x100x5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing & fixing M.S. message plate of required size, steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-Tee support to be painted in black and white colours).Backside of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat including all leads and lifts etc. complete as per drawing , specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective Overhead informatory road signage and boards, made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - III of ASTMD-4956-01 as approved by Engineer-in-charge, letters, borders etc. as per IRC : 67-2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground and with high intensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to class II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of structural frame work by means of suitable sized aluminium alloys, rivets or bolts & nuts @ 300 mm centre to centre all along the periphery as well as in two vertical rows along with theft resistant measures, including the cost of painting with two or more coats of epoxy paint in grey colour on the back side of aluminium sheet including appropriate priming coat. The rate includes the cost of rounding off the corners, lowering down the structural frame work from the gantry, fixing and erecting the same in position all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the engineer-in-charge.(Structural frame work including M.S. plate to be provided separately. Rectangular area of the sheet only shall be measured for payment).

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing Retroreflective regulatory sign board of size 900 mm dia meter made out of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated lens type retro -reflective sheeting as approved by Engineer-in-charge . Letter, symbols, borders etc. will be as per IRC - 67 with required colour scheme on the boards and with the high intensity grade A. The aluminium sheet to be riveted to M.S. frame of angle iron of size 40x40x4 mm. The boards will be fixed to 1 No. 50x50 mm square post made of M.S. angle 50x50x4 mm, 4 m long welded to the frame with adequate anti-theft arrangement .Sheet work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint over an under coat (primer) and back side of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint including appropriate priming coat complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates for PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
