The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the Bid value. - Or, two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the Bid value. - Or, one similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the Bid value. - An average annual financial turnover of 40% of the estimated cost on construction works during the last three consecutive years. - Completion of at least 90% of the contract value of similar works. - A minimum financial turnover (in all classes of civil engineering construction works only) for a specified amount (average of the last five years). - Being a profit-making entity for the last five years. - Satisfactory completion of 90% of the contract value, as a prime contractor, of at least one similar nature of work of value not less than a specified amount in any one year of the last five years. The percentage of similar works completed is 90% of the contract value. The bidder's work experience as a nominated sub-contractor will also be considered if the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document.
