The required prior work experience for the bidder varies by position: * Project Manager: 15 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position (Source 1), or 5 to 7 years of experience (Source 3). * Mechanical Engineer: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 7 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years of experience (Source 1), or 3 years of experience (for B.E. Mech.) or 7 years of experience (for Dip. Mech.) (Source 3). * Quantity Surveyor: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 3 years of experience or a Diploma in Civil Engineering with 7 years of experience (Source 1), or 3 years of experience (for B.E. Civil) or 7 years of experience (for Dip. Civil) (Source 3). * Soil & Material Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 3 years of experience or a Diploma in Civil Engineering with 7 years of experience (Source 1), or 3 years of experience (for B.E. Civil) or 7 years of experience (for Dip. Civil) (Source 3). * Site Engineer: 3 years of experience (for B.E. Civil) or 5 years of experience (for Diploma in Civil Engg) (Source 3). * Plant Engineer: 3 years of experience (for B.E. Mech.) or 7 years of experience (for Dip. Mech.) (Source 3). The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: * The bidder should have completed similar works with a minimum value of Rs. 1000 crores in the last 5 years, with a minimum of 50% of the total value of the works completed (Source 1). * The bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs. 500 crores in the last 5 years, with a minimum of 20% of the total turnover from similar works (Source 1). * The bidder should have executed a minimum of 50% of the total quantities of the major items of work described in the bid document in the last 5 years (Source 1). * The bidder should have completed at least one similar work as a prime contractor with a value of at least Rs. 500 crores in the last 5 years (Source 1). * The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 60% of the estimated cost of the package for works of value up to Rs 200 lakhs and 75% of the estimated cost of the package for works of value more than Rs 200 lakhs in any one year (Source 2). * The bidder should have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed (not less than 90% of contract value) at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3rd (one-third) of the estimated value mentioned in DNIT (Source 2). * The bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work as indicated in Appendix (not less than 40% of the estimated quantity) (Source 2).
