Two pack epoxy phenolic primer to achive a minimum DFT of 300 microns (2 or more coats of 150 micron each)

HB Zinc phosphate coating primer to achive a minimum DFT of 30-35 microns (1 or more coat of 30-35 micron )

Solvent free / high solids surface tolerant epoxy coating to achive a minimum DFT of 350-500 microns (2 or more coats of 175-250 micron each)

Clear primer based on Glass flake filled vinyl Ester coating (Glass flake filled vinyl Easter coating) to achive a minimum DFT of 75-100 (One or more coat of 75-100 micron)

Epoxy mastic coating to achive a minimum DFT of 75-125 (One or more coat of 75-125 micron)

Supplying and applying various epoxy and other protective intermediate / finish paints of approved brand and manufacturer at all heights over prepared/primed surface for steel structures, pipelines, tanks, vessels, equipments, concrete floors etc. as per manufacturers specification and directions of Engineer-in-charge all complete including all materials, labours, tools-tackles and consumables etc but excluding Scaffolding. Note- No. of coats mentioned in the SOR items are only indicative and contractor has to achieve required DFT by applying more coats (if required) within the relevant SOR item rates.

Two pack Acrylic Poly-urethane (PU) to achive a minimum DFT of 40-50 microns (one or more coat of 40-50 micron).

HR aluminium / Silicone Aluminium paint 120 - 200 degree C to achive a minimum DFT of 40 microns (Twoor more coats of 20 micron each).

HR aluminium / Silicone Aluminium paint above 200 degree C to achive a minimum DFT of 40 microns (Two or more coats of 20 micron each).

Amine cured solvent free high build epoxy liner to achive a minimum DFT of 400-500 microns (Two or more coats of 200-250 micron each).

Glass flake filled vinyl Ester coating to achive a minimum DFT of 900-1100 microns (Three or more coats of 300-400 micron each).

Epoxy siloxane coating to achive a minimum DFT of 250 microns (Two or more coats of 125 micron each).

Surface cleaning to Sa 2-1/2 Swedish Specification by Grit/shot blasting (extra over St-2 / St-3 cleaning) by using abrasive materials of size range 16 to 30 (~0.6 to 1.2 mm) mesh like copper grit / shot etc as per relevant standard and direction of Engineer-in-Charge on steel surfaces like storage tanks, columns, vessels, exchangers, chimneys, steel structures and other flat surfaces including pipelines of 350 NB and above diameters in position at all heights including all materials, equipments, tools and plants, consumables, labour etc complete in all respect as directed by Engineer-in-charge but excluding cost of scaffolding. Compressed Air shall be in the scope of contractor (Contractor will have to make his own arrangement for compressor etc. for arranging required air for blasting).

STEEL SCAFFLODING (MATERIALS IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE) The job includes supply of all scaffolding materials, transportation to work site, erection of scaffolding at site as per ISMS (IndianOil Safety Management System) Standard-1007 on Scaffold Safety with safest and reliable design. Scaffolding design should consider the worst load combination expected during its service period. The supporting structure should be sufficient in strength, stability, and rigidity; The safety of personnel associated with the erection, alteration, and dismantling of the scaffold; the safety of persons using the scaffold; and the safety of persons in the vicinity of the scaffold to be considered mandatorily. Standard Tags for "Fit for Use" in Green Color and "Not Fit for Use" in Red Color to be fitted on scaffolding as per ISMS Standard-1007. Note: 1. For measurement in SQM: 2 (length + width) X height area covered by the scaffolding is to be taken. 2. Scaffolding measurement to be done by breaking the height into parts as per height slab mentioned below and adopting respective rates against mentioned height slabs.

Intermediate plate form

Painting of stacks / other high-rise structure, where scaffold is tedious and time consuming, the contractor shall adopt "Rope Access System" through IRATA / Equivalent certified applicators. The agency is required to deploy skilled workforce having prior experience in executing such nature of the job. The manpower & supervisor engaged towards the job shall be adequately qualified with certification from IRATA (or) any other equivalent certifying body. Skill certificate (IRATA or equivalent) shall be submitted for scrutiny of IOCL before deploying the manpower. Job to be executed only by IRATA Level-2 or equivalent certified person, under constant supervision of IRATA Level-3 or equivalent certified person. Necessary Test certificates of the Rope Access tools / equipments, lifting tools etc., shall be submitted as per instructions of EIC, before job start.

Supplying and Applying priming coat with ready mixed Self priming Epoxy primer of approved brand and manufacturer at all heights over steel surfaces like structures, columns, pipes, vessels, tanks etc. as per manufacturers specifications and directions of the Engineering-in-Charge; all complete including cleaning the surface using emery papers / Power tool cleaning such as ST-2 or ST-3 as per requirement, including all material, consumables, tools, tackles, labour through Rope access. (Min DFT -125 Micron)

Supplying and Applying priming coat with ready mixed High build two pack polyamide cured epoxy primer of approved brand and manufacturer at all heights over steel surfaces like structures, columns, pipes, vessels, tanks etc. as per manufacturers specifications and directions of the Engineering-in-Charge; all complete including cleaning the surface using emery papers/ Power tool cleaning such as ST-2 or ST-3 as per requirement, including all material, consumables, tools, tackles, labour through Rope access. (Min DFT -125 Micron)

Supplying & Applying Aluminium paint above 200 degree C to achive a minimum DFT of 40 microns of approved brand and manufacturer at all heights over prepared/primed surface for steel structures, pipelines, tanks, equipments,concrete floors etc. as per manufacturers specification & directions of Engineer-in-charge and; all complete including all materials, labours, tools-tackles and consumables etc through Rope access.(Two or more coats of 15-20 micron each)

PF, EDLI and ESI charges on employer contribution limited to sum of (1.87% of total executed value under Civil SOR-2023 items i.e., It.No.10 to 150) and (1.99% of total executed value under Mech. SOR-2024 items i.e., It.No.160 to 240). This is an Reimburseable Amount, which shall be certified based on submission of necessary documentary proof.
