Technical Capacity
The required prior work experience for the bidder includes:
- Three similar works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work
- Two similar works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work
- One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work
The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 80% of the estimated cost of the work. Substantially completed works, which are 90% completed on the date of submission and continuing satisfactorily, are also considered.
The similar works include supply of construction materials, such as stone metal, stone chips, and sand, or execution work for which supply of these construction materials is required.
The bidder must furnish an Experience Certificate from an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer of the respective Government organization for whom the work is executed.
