Operation and Maintenance of CPWS Scheme to Saipeta and 09 Other Habitations in Kondapuram Mandal of SPSR Nellore District for the Year - 2024-25 for Supply of potable (chlorinated) drinking water at the specified quantity as per drinking water quality standards to all the habitations mentioned in the schedule through the existing network system comprising of infrastructure viz. RSF, OHBR, Service Reservoirs i.e. OHSRs, GLSRs etc., including all operating expenses like wages to the system staff and other amenities applicable as per the labour act, Mobility/transportation facilities etc., for the designated qualified Pump operators, Electricians, Fitters, Helpers, Watchmen etc. for carrying out of all operations involved in drawing of raw water from source, treatment and supply of drinking water as per the guidelines of CPHEEO manual/Department at the rate of 40LPCD with relevant IS specifications wherever applicable and with highest quality standards. The scope of work also includes routine, periodic, breakdown and preventive maintenance, staffing and engaging manpower under Operation & Maintenance. The turbidity of supplied water shall be maintained below 1 NTU and should not exceed 5NTU by mixing alum in raw water duly arriving the Alum dosage by jar test. Disinfection with Bleaching Powder/Liquid Chlorine/Gas Chlorination shall be taken up to maintain Residual Chlorine not less than 0.2ppm in pipe lines at last FHTC in the tail end habitations. The scope of work includes taking up of all other incidental activities pertaining to the Operation and Maintenance of CPWS Scheme and to follow all standard procedures by the agency as directed by the Employer/Engineer of the department. The Rate per KL is applicable to supply potable (chlorinated) drinking water by engaging system staff for Operation & Maintenance of said CPWS Scheme (The rate is excluding cost of consumables, power consumption charges, Repairs and Renewals and GST) for the Period from 01.12.2024 to 31.03.2025 (121Days). Repairs and Renewals :

Construction of Pipeline for water supply with PVC pipes as per IS 4985-1988 with its amendments and revisions there on including supply of pipes, specials as per requirements, trench excavation for pipelines in all soils except Rock Required blasting by 2/3 machinery and 1/3 manually and depositing on bank with an initial lead and lift in all soils for pipeline trench of size 0.70 x 1.00 m including setting out, bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50M, dressing of sides and bottom, lowering, laying and jointing of 90mm dia PVC 6Kg/Cm2 Pipe pipelines true to alignment and gradient and refilling trenches with excavated earth (other than rock soils) with watering and removing surplus earth from the site of work and filling pipeline with water and testing etc., complete, the rates inclusive of cost and conveyance of all materials and labour charges including turnover taxes for finished item of pipeline work but excluding CED etc., complete including Over Heads & Contractors Profit @ 13.615%.
