The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar works, with consideration of the actual executed cost of work. The experience criteria should be met by either the Joint Venture Company itself or any partner in the Joint Venture Company having a stake of at least 26% in the Joint Venture Company. The bidder should have successfully completed similar works during the last 7 years, with the following options: - Three similar completed works each costing not less than 40% of the Estimated cost. - Two similar completed works each costing not less than 50% of the Estimated cost. - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the Estimated cost. The nature of similar works is 'Any Nature of Civil Construction / Civil Maintenance Works'. The actual executed cost of completed works will be considered, irrespective of the work order value or contract value. In case of contracts involving multi-disciplinary works, the documentary evidence should indicate the completion value for each multi-disciplinary work separately or clearly bring out the cost break-up of works required. The average annualized value of work done against rate contracts shall be considered as one work for the purpose of evaluation of bids. The bidder having higher work experience value for an individual project will get preference in ranking.
