The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in respect of Eligible Projects, with specific details to be furnished for the last 5 financial years preceding the Bid Due Date. The bidder should have completed EPC projects, including turnkey projects, item rate contracts, or construction works, with a maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The value of similar works completed should exceed the minimum specified amount, which is Rs. 0.48 Crore for construction works. The bidder should have undertaken the construction of projects of at least Rs. 7.19 Crore, excluding any part of the project for which any contractor, sub-contractor or other agent was appointed for the purpose of construction. For normal highway projects, the bidder should have completed at least one similar work of 20% of the Estimated Project Cost, which is Rs. 1.92 crore. The project is considered completed if more than 90% of the value of work has been completed and such completed value of work is equal to or more than 20% of the estimated project cost. The percentage of similar works completed is 20% of the Estimated Project Cost for similar work experience. The bidder should have a minimum Average Annual Turnover of Rs. 1.44 Crore for the last 5 financial years, updated to the price level of the year based on factors indicated in the table, with up-dation factors ranging from 1.00 to 1.20. The Lead Member of the Joint Venture shall meet at least 60% requirement of Bid Capacity, Technical and Financial Capacity, and each of other JV members shall meet at least 20% requirement of Bid Capacity, Technical and Financial Capacity individually. The Technical capacity in respect of an Eligible Project situated in a developed country which is a member of OECD shall be further multiplied by a factor of 0.5.
