East Coast Railway Tender

Trenching and fixing of G.I. pipes of different sizes/DWC pipes in hard rocky area up to a depth of 0.3 M to 0.6 M or at places as per instruction of site Engineer and concreting [1 : 3 : 6] up to height of 100 mm above the pipes. G.I. pipes with the socket/ DWC pipes shall be supplied by the 4 Railway. All other materials required for the works shall be supplied by the contractor. Note: [1] In case of girder bridges, G.I. pipes shall be suitably clamped by the contractor as advised by the site Engineer. Clamps shall be supplied by the contractor. [2] The work including excavation of trenches in hard rock area up to a depth of 0.3 M to 0.6 M and back filling, ramming after completion of work where ever required. [3] In case of concrete bridges clearing of ballast for laying of pipes and re arranging the Railway ballast after completion of work shall be done by the contractor.

Cutting of masonary floor/walls at station building/ signal goomty/ Gate lodge at a depth of 0.5 mtr. to 1.0 mtr at places to be indicated by site Engineer for entering of cables inside the 5 building. Only G.I pipes supplied by Railway and all materials as clamps, bolts & nuts as instructed by site Engineer supplied by tenderer. This includes repairing of masonry floors/walls after the cables are taken inside. Cement, Sand required for the work shall be supplied by the tenderer and also transportation of G.I Pipe from Store by the tenderer.

Transportation of OFC from the store of to work site with care, and pushing/ pulling OFC through the HDPE pipes sealing of the duct by simple plugs. The cable is to be laid by 6 mechanized means. At inaccessible places where mechanized laying is not possible, the cable is to be laid manually by pulling through pre inserted rope. Empty cable drums with or without leftover cable should be returned to the store. This also includes testing of cable drums by OTDR in the store premises before transportation and submission of results thereof.

Transportation of HDPE pipe from the store to work site, laying of the same (With 4 7 mm nylon rope, pre inserted inside the HDPE pipe) in excavated trench/ already laid GI/ RCC pipe / tubes, jointing, leveling and end sealing the pipes, HDPE pipe, couplers and end caps shall be supplied by Railway, Nylon rope shall be supplied by the contractor.

Concreting (Mix 1:2:4) 200 mm x 200 mm on G.I. Pipes on bridges/ culverts or any other location as specified by the Rly. supervisor. All materials including cement required for the above works are to be supplied by the tenderer.

Painting & Lettering of emergency sockets & post including supply of black, white & red oxide of reputed brand and IS spec. Paint to be applied in two coats. Rusted portion, if any, to be rubbed out and applied with red oxide after which two coats of necessary paint will be applied.

Excavation of cable joint pit of size 1m x 1mx 1.2 in all types of soil for jointing of copper cables, back filling and ramming after jointing.

Excavation of pit, execution of jointing of Telecom cable by using Thermo shrink cable 1 jointing kits for straight through derivation joints and covering of cable jointing kits with excavated soils and ramming. Jointing kit shall be supplied by the Railway. All other materials required for execution of work shall be supplied by the contractor.

Stenciling of OHE parameters on OHE structures with stenciling of direction of emergency telephone sockets and location numbers on opposite side of OHE masts with Railway supplied paint as per the instructions given by sectional supervisor.

Repairing of SMR MODULE of 48 Volt charger (Make:-Amararaja, Puncom, Statcon or similar). Testing of the SMR Module after repairing is to be done by an authorized representative of Sr.DSTE/WAT. A certificate of testing is to be produced during submission of Bill. 4

Repairing of Power supply modules for Router (Make:-CISCO, HP, & D-Link or similar). 5

Repairing of Power supply modules for Switch (Make:-Digisol & D-Link or similar).

Repairing of Power supply modules for Modem (Make:- Team Engg., & NOMUS or similar).

Hiring of Public Address system with Manpower for one day for a gathering of 100 to 7 500 people. This includes sufficient nos. of Speakers, Amplifier, Audio Mixture, wire & wireless microphones, stands, podium microphones etc as per site requirement. This also includes transportation of all materials to site.

Hiring of 55" LED TV for one day. This includes all accessories like TV Stand, Connector cables and manpower for operation. This also includes transportation of all materials to site.

Hiring of High resolution Cameras for live casting or recording or both for one day. 10 This includes camera stands, all type of cables, connectors and manpower for operation. The tenderer has to submit recorded Media after completion of the cerimonial function if recording is ordered. This also includes transportation of all materials to site.

Supply, Transportation and Installation of earth electrode (make TATA or Jindal as per Rly. practice) including MS flat for signalling equipments on lever frame, apparatus cases, signal, relay racks, cable termination rcak, block instrument etc. (supply & installation of earth electrode as per drawing no. RE/S&T/DRG/Tender/SK/398/94 for apparatus cases, signal post & other equipments 1 as per instruction on earthing of S&T equipment. Laying of earth lead mild steel flat of size 35mmx6mm and fixing of lead MS flat (make TATA/Jindal or Similar) to earth electrode and lever frame, signal post & apparatus cases as per Drg. No. CORE/S&T/ALD/SK/591/2008, 592/2008 and 593/2008 respectively and instructions on earthing at S&T equipment and providing cement enclosure for earth electrode as per drawing no. RE/S&T/Sig./Tender/SK/13/85 Alt. A) NOTE: This includes testing of earth value and indicating the same on the Earth enclosure by paint. Inspection by representative of Railway.

Supply, transportation and fixing of MS ladder with suitable clamping arrangement & 2 associated masonary and smithy work in Relay room, equipment room, Battery room, Goomties and cabins etc. The MS ladder should be made of 1" X 1" (1/8"/3 mm thickness) and MS flat size of 1" wide X 1/8" / 3 mm thickness. MS flat shall be provided at every 8"apart. Width of ladder shall be 8". Tenderer shall supply all materials for this work. Inspection by representative of Railway before use. [RM=Running Meter]

Supply ,transportation & installation of Optical Fibre cable joint enclosure and splicing of OFC (24 Fibre) and testing. OFC spicing shall be done in presence of Railway Representative. Inspection by representative of Railway.

Supply, transportation, and installation of RCC joint chamber with two piece top cover 4 and bottom cover with hole for drainage and cable entry as per drawing No.RCIL/ER/DRG-02/06 (Section-H). This includes trenching for joint pit, back filling and ramming of pit after placing the joint closure and cable loop in the chamber without causing damage to the same and consolidation of soil as well as disposal of excess soil. Inspection by representative of Railway.

Supply, transportation, Installation and testing of OFC distribution (management 5 system) box as per RDSO Spec. RDSO/SPN/TC/037-2000, Drg. N0. RDSO/TCDO-170, suitable for 19" rack complete with 24 fibre FCPC/STPC couplers 24 pitails and suitable tray as per specification and drawing. Make 3M model:8423 or similar (latest version). Inspection by representative of Railway.
