M&L for online centrifuging (filtration/dehydration) of transformer oil including checking dielectric strength of oil before and after filteration for transformers located under GE Haddo area with suitable machine having filteration, heating and pumping facility to improve the dielectric strength / insulation value of the transformer oil upto 60KV/Min.
(a) The contractor will take shut down orders in working before commencement of the work from Engineer-in-charge.
(b) The contractor shall ensure no wastage of transformer oil.
(c) The Contractor is solely responsible for any damage to the transformer during filtration operations. He is responsible for making good any damage to the transformer at his own cost without any extra cost to the department.
(d) The contractor shall ensure that the conservator tanks are full to its level before starting the dehydration.
(e) the di-electric strenght of oil shall be tested before & after filtration. Test results shall be submitted to engineer-in-charge.

Note (a) Rewinding of transformer shall be measured and paid separately. (b) In case of major repairs/replacement in transformer, which can not be undertaken at site, the transformer shall be shifted to civil workshop and refixed at site after rewinding by Hydra and connected accessories (complete transformer).
(c) Dismantling of core and repairs shall be measured and paid separately.
(d) Rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of Shifting of transformer to workshop and back. (e) Complete gaskets, nuts and bolts shall be replaced by the contractor and the rate deemed to be inclusive.
