M & L for Screening Road Metal, Chippings, etc. on the site of the work, when specially ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring [Materials from both sides of screen measured] complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Preparing Top Surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen of Grade VG – 10 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for repair to Pot Holes not exceeding 30 mm depth, not exceeding 1.00 Sq.m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to at least 25mm depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sq.m, putting in SDAC of VG-30 Grade as specified for required thickness as per ground condition and again well rammed with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated including supply of SDAC, binder and chipping complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Preparing existing Black Top Surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen and laying Bituminous Premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG – 30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified. Note: Minimum Bitumen content shall be 5.5% as specified here in above. Please note that if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of Mix–Design is found more than the minimum bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of Mix–Design. Bitumen shall be Paving Bitumen of Grade VG–30 and shall be procured by the contractor.

M & L for Premixed Bituminous Macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber [consolidate thickness 75mm or less] using paving bitumen of Grade VG - 30 as binder with 4% by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Cost of testing charges, materials, and transportation etc. for job mix formula shall be inclusive in the unit rate and no extra payment shall be admissible in this regard. Mix shall be obtained from Hot Mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver only.

M & L for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc. of 2.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of colour White or Golden Yellow on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermo Plast material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate interfillers, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface complete as per MOSRT & H specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Shalimark of STP Ltd or Kataline as approved by GE.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep and getting out in Soft / Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Moorum / Red Bajri filling under Floors or in Pavings laid in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, spread levelled and rammed / rolled with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity including watering to and consolidated to required level, gradient and camber required complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Measurements shall be taken after consolidation of earth and 10% deduction shall be made for payments. Moorum / Red Bajri required shall be brought from outside MD land.

S & F in repairs Poly Carbonate Convex Mirror outdoor type 1000mm dia made out of Fibre along with bracket, Pole mounted and fixed to 80mm bore Medium Grade MS Pipe of required length complete and embedded in PCC of size 450 X 450 X 600mm, including necessary earthwork excavation in any type of soil as in Post Holes and removal of soil up to 50 metre, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of Zinc Chrome primer to MS Pipe & Framed work complete all as specified. Make: Model No. FCMO-100 of M/s. Frontier Polymers Pvt. Ltd. or equivalent model of 3M / Dark Eye as approved by GE. Note : Excavation, PCC, MS Post, Painting to steel work will be measured and paid seperately.

Dismantling of Mild Steel or Wrought Iron Work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Mild Steel work as in Tubular Trusses, Posts etc. including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS - 1161, Grade YST - 240, Medium Grade of any dia complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for two coats of Synthetic Enamel paint over one coat of Red Oxide / Zinc Chrome Primer on new steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC 1:4:8, type D2 using 40mm Graded Aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in Post Holes or similar holes each not exceeding 0.5 Cu.m, getting out in Soft / Loose soil, including returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers not exceeding 25cm thick, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and making good surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of Brick / Stone Masonry built in Cement Mortar or cement lime mortar for ashlar facings, dressed stonework, precast concrete articles, precast block walling etc. including all quoins arches pillars etc and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.50 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing Precast Cement Concrete Kerb Stones, Dividers of 100 mm thick with or without chamfered angles and flat, splayed, rounded or mitred tops of grade M-25 cement concrete, including all mouldings, set in Cement Mortar 1:3 including necessary earthwork excavation, making joints with or without grooves, including making drainage opening wherever requiredcomplete all as specified and as directed. Note: Thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not be more than 5mm.

Taking down Cement Plaster of any description on brick or stone walls or concrete surfaces etc including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.50 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rendering on fair faces of brick / concrete surfaces, 10 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4, surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparing newly plastered Wall / Ceiling surfaces and making good any undulations on the surfaces and applying Two or more coats of Weather Proof Exterior Emulsion Paint [100% Acrylic] applied @ 1.67 lit/10 sq.m over and including a Coat of Damp Proof Exterior Primer applied @ 2.2 kg/10 sq.m of same manufacturer as that of paint on Wall / Ceiling surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.
